Sports Untold 145 Bucky Jacobsen
Paul is joined on the 145th edition of the ‘Sports Untold’ podcast by Bucky Jacobsen of the KJR 93.3 FM Chuck and Buck morning show. Bucky played for the Mariners in 2004 and became an iconic Seattle player.
In this interview, listeners will hear all about Bucky’s journey to playing major league baseball—including getting the sports bug as a kid, playing JUCO baseball, and his minor league career. Bucky tells about some of the lessons he learned along the way while playing sports and majoring in Social Work in college. They also cover Bucky’s 2004 season with the Mariners, including some great stories about Hall of Famers like Edgar and Ichiro.
The two also discuss the state of the Mariners today—what fans should look forward to, what Bucky thinks about the still available free agents, and what he would grade the Mariner’s offseason.
